¿Quién fue Alexander H. Wyant?

Alexander H Wyant, nacido el 11 de enero de 1836 en Ohio, Estados Unidos, fallecido el 29 de noviembre de 1892 en Nueva York, Estados Unidos, fue un pintor paisajista estadounidense. Sus primeras pinturas siguieron de cerca la tradición de la Escuela del Río Hudson, mientras que sus pinturas posteriores, imbuidas de colores apagados, características atmosféricas e interpretación poética, son representativas del tonalismo.
